| Description: | The graduate assistant for athletics marketing and new media will work with the Sports Information Director, the Office of Communication and Strategic Initiatives and the Theodore Katula Director of Athletics and Recreational Sports to maintain the athletics website, produce post-event games notes and news releases, facilitate all DePauw University athletics social media outlets and assist the Director of Athletics with additional duties related to athletics marketing. This is a 10-month appointment, renewable for a second year with a positive review. Individuals must be accepted into a graduate program at Indiana State University. |
| Duties: | � Understand and comply with NCAA Division III, conference and University rules and regulations
� Demonstrate a philosophy that emphasizes academic priorities for student-athletes
� Demonstrate sensitivity to individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds and a commitment to a diverse community
� Maintain the athletics website and all social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) of DePauw Tigers Athletics.
� Serve as the primary media contact for two programs, including but not limited to game notes and news releases.
� Produce feature stories and content for all of Tiger athletics; staffing home and selected away events.
� Supervise statistical crews and other event support personnel, as appropriate.
� Compile statistics, research historical records for DePauw athletics publications.
� Assist the Director of Athletics with additional duties related to athletics department marketing.

| Qualifications: | Education: Bachelor�s degree required.
Experience: Highly recommended that the successful candidate have experience in a collegiate or professional media relations environment.
Computer Skills: Demonstrated organizational skills and working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite and StatCrew; previous experience in website maintenance and social media for non-personal use is required.
Certificates & Licenses: A valid US driver�s license is required.
